Warwickshire Counselling, Supervision & Training

About Warwickshire Counselling, Supervision & Training

We are integrative trained therapists with a broad range of experience working with adults and young people. The range of counselling options available is based on the fact that we understand that not everyone wants to sit in a counselling room to discuss challenges within their life. The way in which we work with each individual client, is based on the information that the client shares during the initial session.

As registered members of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, we abide by their ethical framework.

  • Enhanced DBS registered with the Government DBS update service.

Services

Home Visits

Home visits may be beneficial for a range of different reasons. We currently provide home visit for clients within a 15 mile radius of Rugby, Warwickshire.

The fee is dependent on the location, so please contact us to discuss.

Counselling Appointments

Although weekly appointments are common in talking therapy, the frequency is based on your individual needs, aims, and preferences. Options might include, 30 minutes bi-weekly, 50 minutes weekly, or fortnightly. We also offer single 'one off' appointments, which can give you the time and space to talk about specific problems and consider your future plans. The duration of a single session is negotiable but may typically be 90, or 120 minutes in duration.

Ecotherapy

Not all counselling sessions have to take place in a counselling room or your home. Ecotherapy is a formal type of therapeutic intervention, which involves being in nature. Please contact us if you would like further information.

The fee is dependent on the location, so please contact us to discuss.

Non-Counselling Professional Support

This service is aimed at professionals across a wide range of sectors, who might benefit from a single appointment, or a series of ongoing appointments, to help them deal with a specific challenge within their work or professional lives.

£90.00 per hour.

Critical Incident Stress Debriefing

This is a form of crisis intervention aimed at reducing the traumatic impact of an event. It can be delivered individually or in a group. In group sessions, the aim is to foster a connection between people who went through the experience together, increasing effective coping, and trauma education after the stressful event.

The fee is dependent on the number of individuals involved and location, so please contact us to discuss.

Clinical Supervision

Our clinical supervisor has a level 7 post graduate certificate in clinical supervision, which qualifies him to work across multi-disciplines. He is experienced in providing 1-1, or group supervision for students and qualified counsellors in person, or online, and has accumulated significant experience working with individuals and groups across a wide range of health and social care professions. The fee is dependent on whether you are a student or qualified therapist, individual, or group, and or the sector that you are working within, so please contact us to discuss your requirements.

The First Session

While traditional talking therapy appointments are typically 50 minutes long, we try to offer clients the flexibility to customise their session duration and frequency. This bespoke approach promotes greater autonomy and flexibility in your therapy journey.

The first time we meet is an opportunity for us to discuss why you wish to access counselling and how counselling might help. It is an opportunity for the client to determine if they feel comfortable talking to us, and to decide if we are the right therapist to help. If we feel that we am unable to help, we will discuss other options that may be helpful to you.

Initially it can be beneficial to meet weekly, but other options can be discussed based on your preferences and circumstances. You are free to end your sessions at any time, but a planned ending may prove more beneficial.

Counselling Fees

The cost of counselling can be a barrier to preventing someone from accessing therapy and so concessions are available based on individual circumstances. Please contact us to discuss.
